Thai Yoga Massage

Thai Yoga Massage combines massage strokes with therapeutic stretching to treat what the Thai call “Sen lines.” These lines are energetic pathways of the body and are similar to the meridians mapped out for Acupuncture in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Thai Yoga Massage can accomplish many of the goals of a deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy by assessing and treating problematic areas from different angles. This style of massage is diagnostic because we move through the range of motion of large muscle groups while doing compression massage. I am able to gain insight into your structural anatomy which helps us to be more specific with your treatment plan going forward while giving you a relaxing, transformative, therapeutic experience all the while.

What to expect in a Thai Yoga Massage?

Thai Yoga Massage is performed on a cushioned, heated mat on the floor. You wear comfortable clothes that you might exercise or do yoga in. No oil is used. It is a passive yet dynamic experience, sometimes called “lazy yoga.”
